There are 2 songs on this link..... both by Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel who at the age of 5 was inspired by Chet Atkins. The songs are:

* Guitar Boogie
* Amazing Grace

Be sure to listen to Amazing grace.

Thanks for the heads up on this version of Amazing Grace. I had never heard it and I liked it. I love hearing different interpretations of established songs/music. I think for me, Jeff Beck's version is still the best version of Amazing Grace I have heard. I admit they aren't apples to apples comparisons: live an acoustic vs studio. But the blend of Beck's guitar and the Chorus almost brings me to tears.

Speaking of Amazing Grace and guitar players, I really like Vince Gill’s version with Carrie Underwood.

Guitar Boogie was written by Arthur Smith, who was born in Clinton, SC. He also co-wrote "Fuedin' Banjos", later known as "Dueling Banjos". He is often referred to as the first rock guitarist.

When I was coming up The Arthur Smith show was never missed at our house. I remember one time he had Andy Griffith on his show one night and the had a good guitar picking time. Arthur was a good and kind man and also very talented.

Listen to Dire Straits Alchemy Live version of Sultans of Swing.
Mark Knopfler is another Chet Atkins disciple.
