Those guy had a nice game last night (215 yards). I know it was Duke but all protected the ball and ran hard. Not sure who will emerge as the prmiary back next year (could be all three) but I think we're going to be OK if the OL stays together and healthy.

If Brooks can add about 15 pounds of muscle to his frame he could be a super back next year. We will all have our eyes on him in spring ball. I think that he will get as many carries in the next 2 or three games as he has all year. Especially if AE is not 100%. Hard to find fault with this offense. Even Boyds occassional interception isn't that bad. Many of them come on long plays are no worse than having to punt.... especially if they are on third down. Aren't those long passes to Watkins, Hopkins et al into the end zone a thing of beauty? Hope he saves 5 or 6 of those for the Spurriers!

Brooks was the one that impressed me most

of course that was a function of the fact that I already had faith in Howard and HotRod. Hadn't seen much out of Zac until last night, and it was good to see his vision and cutting ability on display, even against Duke.

Yeah, I was commenting to a friend about how good he looked. He has great vision and you can tell he has a big time burst. He has the frame to put on another 15-20 lbs by next year and be a big time back with a lot of speed. He is going to be a good one.

Howard looks to be the most physical & best back out of the three; however, Brooks has potential, but needs to bulk up in the offseason.
There will be a lot of competition at RB next year with Gallman & Dye merging into the mix.

Can't leave out Tajh's rushing game. I think it was 77 yards, most were crucial carries for FD's as well, as that great TD to close out the 1st half.
But to your point, Hot Rod, DJ, and Zach held up their end very nicely.

Among boys once he puts on that last 20 lbs he needs. He just has a natural ability about his running. Like things just flow so easy for him. I think if he beefs up he's #1 on the depth chart coming out of spring. Kid is going to be a beast.
And yes kudos to all three of those guys for last night. Howard just feels like that favorite relative you can always count on to get you 3 or 4 everytime he touches the ball. And so happy for Hot Rod. That kid deserves every good thing that happens to him. Never once through the injuries or lack of PT did you EVER hear about him complaining. He just kept his head down and kept grinding and its paying off for him now.
On that note I love the kids we have on this football team. They all make me proud to be a Tiger fan. Strong character and just great kids. And hate to break the news to all the Dabo bashers, that all starts from the top down. I love our football coach, and its also pretty special that he is about to set the record for consecutive wins at home. Yes people, even more than the great Danny Ford. Chew on that for awhile.
