probably be the best argument and facilitator for an 8-team playoff.
Either they make it in and TWO "Power 5" conference champs get left out or they don't make it in (more likely) and after beating OU and presumably a ranked Louisville team, still have an argument that they should.

if you are looking at it in a proverbial sense, though... the numbers change to 0>1
statistically speaking, however, 0 = 1

I think Houston has a legitimate chance if they defeat Louisville, stay unbeaten and only one or two power 5 teams have one loss or unbeaten.

If Wake Florist beats Clemson, FSU, and Louisville, and the ACC championship thereafter, there is a numerically greater than 0% chance that GWP buys you a shiny new cape to hang in the bat cave. I'm not sure what the odds are though, I'm not a gambler.

Hmm. Another koan? Seems much less paradoxical than the last question. But wait... 29 pages from now, will you and Snowtown reveal that you were talking about basketball? If basketball, then Wake Forest.
But if football? This one is too easy, no? Houston absolutely has a better chance of making the playoffs than Wake Forest. A very small, small chance but like Snowtown likes to see in writing - a numerically greater chance than zero. There's only one team from the ACC making the playoffs this year and it's CLEMSON.
