possibly restructure the entire federal judiciary. There are starting to be calls for a Jeffersonian-style Judicial Act, and hopefully we see that happen in the near future. I do think enough votes could be generated to make this happen. It's clear the legislature needs to administer checks and balances to the courts. Until then, the Executive Branch will continue to ignore rulings that infringe on its Article II powers.
Impeachment is ridiculous. There are not the votes to convict, and they know it. It's a complete waste of time when they could be actually doing something about this through other avenues. As for the Chief Justice, neither he nor his court have any role in the impeachment process. His opinion does not matter and should be ignored. Impeachment is a political process, not a legal process.
