Does this mean we can expect 'favorable calls' from ACC refs in all of our upcoming games?

Well think about it like this. Your 2 football cash cows leave that next tv deal would be a lot less.

If this is done well, this could be a decent outcome. For instance, ACC made about $630m for the 14 football schools last year, or $45m per school. If they gave the top 2 tv eyeball schools $80m each (fsu/CU), that would leave $470m to distribute to the other 12 schools, or $39m per.
There are various other sliding scale versions of this that work out as well. Easiest would be top 8 teams get 75% of the revenue (472.5). Bottom 6 split the remainder (157.5). Top team gets $85m, then $75m, then $65m, next 5 $50m (adds to 475 but you get the point). Bottom 6 get $26m per team and a big incentive to DO BETTER. This model could pass because there are likely 8 teams that would like the potential upside and I think all schools recognize the value Clemson/FSU bring here and the downside risk if they leave.

Favorable calls in ACC play, but then get to the playoffs and get unfavorable calls with B1G and SEC refs? They need to move to AI referees ASAP

Clemson and FSU would be stupid to sign any new increased revenue deal unless the GOR is reduced by half to like 2030 when other conference deals are close to expiring.

There are pretty significant drawbacks to changing conferences. If we go B1G we can no longer play South Carolina as the last regular season game of the year. If we go SEC we can no longer meet at the paw after home games without being fined.

So instead of setting up our program for the future so we remain financially competitive we are instead going to give that up to keep the time of year we play that loser program in Columbia and a tradition we can probably keep?

I'm going to be positive and possibly crazy here. The ACC may have added a sleeper powerhouse in SMU, in an era of NIL the ACC may want to add Liberty to the mix as well. The money those schools will have at their disposal is insane.

I seriously doubt it is true only because I feel like the Seminoles have burnt every bridge possible. I could see Clemson repairing relations with the conference because of how we’ve handled things on our end but the Seminoles have made it abundantly clear where they stand on conference relations.

No. The Big 12 has always had equal pay - but they did get $300m for the longhorn network which was a loser. So instead of ESPN paying them for that loser, they just paid them to go to the SEC.
But your point is still valid. Unequal revenue sharing is a loser. I suspect UNC will at the least have something to say about it and it may be on their way out.

I think this speaks to the situation on several fronts. First, Clemson recognizes the difficulties it faces on getting out of the conference entirely while at the sane time, The ACC recognizes the penalty the conference as a while will face if it doesn't compromise and loses its 2 biggest schools entirely. Basically, it's a comprised deal for both sides to save face while getting at least some of what they want. Lastly, whether we want to realize it or not, even I'd Clemson won the suit it was and still isn't a guarantee that we'll be invites to join the SEC or Big10. I love my tigers as much as anyone but I never bought into the idea that the SEC was especially licking their lips at adding us to the fold. As for the Big 10, that's another set of hurdles regarding our lack of AAU status and cultural isolation.

ESPN has the 2/2025 lookin clause to extend the current contract until 2036. If there is no smoking gun in the lawsuit documents, like it or not, ESPN is calling the shots. If this is true, hopefully the GOR expires in 2030 like the B1G.
