Recieving predictions

Aug 28, 2012, 8:34 PM

What's everyones thought about how our recievers stats will look this weekend? I'm thinking it will play out like this: Nuk 120 yds 1 TD, Brown 40 yards, Peake 80 yards 1 TD, Bryant 60 yards maybe a long TD , Humphries 25 yards, Ford 30 yards.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

I think 355 receiving yards on the opening day with a new OL and going against a pretty good DL might be high. I think your number for Nuk will be a little high, and your number for Ford will be low. 60 yards for Bryant seems reasonable if he gets a big play, but I don't know what to expect from Peake. I think we will be about 320 yards passing and 160 yards rushing for the game. Hopefully higher though. I think the new OL is going to play a bigger role in the beginning of the season than most here want to believe. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Nuke for over 100 and a TD, Peake goes for about 70 and a TD, Bryant for 60 and no TD. Brown for about 50, Ford for 40 and a TD.

Also, Ellington cracks 120 yards rushing with 2 TDs.

Unfortunately, I think Boyd gets sacked 6 times and throws 2 interceptions, plus one fumble.

Short fields cost us bad...

We will miss Sammy a little; but like at NCSU, the game was determined by blitzes that put Boyd under heavy pressure.

A little Pistol (formation) Whipping will cure the blitzing

Not so fast my friend!!! The Clemson Tigers come out firing on all cylinders!!! Tajh Boyd takes leadership and even without Sammy Watkins has big time receivers to keep them in the ball game. Look for the defense to be flying towards the ball under first year defensive coordinator Brent Venables. Clemson wins a close one 34-27 Go Clemson Tigers!!!

I think B Ford blows up

Gets a lot of outlet passes, helps Tajh under pressure
