There were a few fans on the ledge but they are laying low. The real issue is we are are a less talented team each year due to Dabo’s NIL policy. Cade is the last of the 5* QBs

So the only way to use the portal is like Mike of FSU? Interesting. Dabo has said he has attempted to use the portal but it hasn’t worked out yet. Disappointed to now find out he was trying to do an FSU and replace the whole team.

By identifying o-linemen who could make a step up from non-P5 competition to Clemson. Hopefully, Tigers can continue this run and win out to the playoffs for a home game.
Dabo has made a reasonable case that the top transfer players he would potentially recruit for Clemson have already been tamper-recruited by wealthier programs. Hence, they are unavailable.

That’s a dumb argument, the same programs tampering with transfers are contacting HS recruits and offering them boatloads of cash just as much as the transfers, are we going to stop recruiting top HS players then too? I don’t want a team full of transfers but it’s ludicrous to not agressivly pursue a handful of guys to help with depth and attrition

It's definitely interesting that literally every loss the last 2-3 years is portrayed as some kind of indictment on Dabos portal use and indicative of his programs inevitable decline. However every victory, regardless of margin, is not cited as proof of, well, anything. It's almost like the pro portal crowd are being disingenuous with their arguments. Imagine that.

I believe that Clemson would be a deeper and better team with a few players from the portal this season. It is possible to be a fan of Dabo's and Clemson without agreeing with everything he says or does.
