Homerun Hire needed for DC

This program needs a homerun hire at DC. I don't believe Banks is a homerun type hire, especially if it costs us Mike Reed. I would rather see Reed promoted to DC if Banks is the hire. I hope that it is Jim Leonhard.

Banks coaches Safeties so Conn would be the one gone, unless Reed is just upset about not getting a shot. Nothing indicates that he wants that shot, or he would have left when Goodwin was named DC with no real experience other than getting coffee for coaches in the NFL.

Either way I would rather promote Reed to DC if Banks was the hire for DC. The rumor floating around is Reed is gone because he wasn't considered for the DC.
