Since last nights game, I have not watched any highlights or read any of the commentary and, honestly, I probably won't. I was there, I saw it live, and I have no desire to relive it.
However, I will say this, Brad Brownell got out-coached. Defensive lapses by Clemson against UVa's picks and screens and no answer for UVa's quick double team defense. UVa put on a clinic on what a well-coached team looks like.
For the life of me, I do not understand why we didn't at least try to press more on defense in an attempt to disrupt the UVa offense. I won't even bother about following shots and rebounding.
After thirteen seasons, one top 40 finish and just three trips to the NCAAT (Clemson is not going to receive an at-large bid on Sunday), it is well-past time for the CBB experiment to end IMO.
If, by some miracle, Clemson does get in, Clemson would have the dubious distinction of being the team with the worst SOS ranking and more than one Quad 4 loss, to ever receive an at large invite.

Sitting next to a pretty cool UVA fan…when we finally tried a press in the second half, he said he was surprised we waited so long as other teams had had some success with it.
I will say that I was disappointed in the turnout from Clemson fans. There were plenty of reasonably priced tickets available…and it’s not that far from the upstate.

I'm afraid he will get a Bowden-like extension and we will be paying him for years and not be coaching after being fired next year. Never seen a coach that does not stand up for his team when the refs make a bad call. It is O.K. to get a technical when you call out the refs for bad calls.

Thank you for going to the game. Watching on TV was painful enough for me. I do not understand the nuances of basketball, but we run hot and cold with no rhyme nor reason. I am sure some on here will offer an explanation, but it does not endear me to our version of the game.
