I love the build up, the drama and the denouement but this guy is a step up from all the theater. My congratulations to my Clemson my love and the team mates of this fine young man. I'm happy as a pig in mud.
The competition on Clemson's football team for the quarterback pecking order will be historical.

This is an incredible get. Our QB room is going to be so loaded. Hope the coaches can spread the playing time around, so that we don't have any transfers. If our OL comes through, our offense is going to be hard to stop. What about Bowman as a top RB recruit?? My god, with Etienne and the rising sophomore (can't recall his name), we'll be loaded at RB as well. My only question mark is defense. Can we really replace the losses? Input appreciated.

I want to see who ever our coaches feels or believes is our best QB on the field 90% of the time, and who ever they believe is our best next man up as our backup. Our backup should be on the side lines until our starter has the game put away, or has an injury. All this sharing the playing time with our two best QB's the way it was with Trevor and KB just isn't the best thing to do in college FB. I believe that the only reason it was done with Trevor and KB, is bc they saw that Trevor was our best option with his down field passing accuracy, but they felt that they had to give KB the chance to put some distance between himself and Trevor, and it didn't happen. I truly believe that a starting QB has to go out on the field every game and find his rhythm with his receivers, and that depends on how fast each defense he faces are with their pursuit, and each team's defense will be different, and that is the main reason to name a starting QB, bc it is harder for a QB to find his rhythm taking turns with another QB. With Trevor and KB, I think that Trevor had shown that he was better at reading a defense and could respond faster, plus he had a lot more accuracy with his passes, and our coaches knew without a doubt, that an accurate down field passing attack is a must have to win major championships, and they are 100% correct, and it was proven the year before with KB's inaccurate down field passes...

Great video. Really good insight on the family and why he chose Clemson. I have watched some of his Jr. year highlights/ DJ has a rocket for an arm, moves well in the pocket, and just looks smooth at QB. This kid is a winner.

So he made his final decision at the Clemson Spring Game and took the opportunity to get some film with Dabo in Death Valley for his professionally produced commitment video. Yet me made another trip to Oregon to meet his idols Marcus Mariota and Jeremiah Masoli. The Ducks must feel like chumps today. I love the Tigers and I'm glad we are recruiting at a high level, but I am seriously concerned about the pervasive sense of entitlement among elite high school athletes ... before they've ever played one snap on a college field.
