Holy mercy! The Tucker interview and Putin

it’s unreal.
The pontificating is hard to get through but what I realized is how coherent, well spoken and emphatic Putin is in this interview.
It scares the #### out of me that we have a demented old man that is up against what I just watched. Policies and all put aside….its scares me that we have a man in power that can’t put together a sentence and they have a man that is quoting 8th century text.

Hitler and Stalin

were both huge lovers of history and had fantastic memories. Hitler could talk in depth about a great number of topics and often impressed even experts in a variety of fields.
Knowledge of history and being well spoken does not automatically equate to being correct or truthful. In fact, the more you know the more you can propagandize effectively.
I'm not really talking about the comparison to Biden I just mean how many people seem to be overly impressed because Putin knows his version of history.

IF it involved memory and/or history since Joe just funked a memory test given by special counsel concerning classified docs found unattended at his Corvette house location..
and got confused and asked twice what date he became VP and when he retired as VP. Sad and not funny since Dementia can hit you & I as it has Joe thus reason he should have Not been a candidate in 2019 and certainly Not a candidate in 2024!
He will be replaced at DNC and Mrs Obama could be the replacement.

It's amazing to me that we now have a fair percentage of the pub party now sucking Putin's dink. When I was a pub, the party was the #1 enemy in the world of Putin/Russia/Soviet Union. I guess they now admire someone who openly kills/jails opponents and invades neighboring countries and kills parents and steals their children. Wow!

I'm just curious how you expect Biden (or anyone) to stand up to Putin

without spending money?
Considering the return we got from helping Ukraine, it just seems odd to be against that but also be so strongly in support of standing up to (or being scared of) Putin.
Is your idea that a world leader can simply give an interview whereby they sound tough without backing it up?

That is the main question. There is zero interest except for the idea that he is trying to conquer Eastern Europe, which is just a joke.
How hard is to to understand that Ukraine and LGBT issues are not the most pressing issues in America? It’s like the border doesn’t exist in your minds.

If statesmanship and being able to articulate, yes he is better than Biden or Kamala by a mile. Every democrat should be embarrassed of putting Biden on the ticket. The dude is obviously brain dead.

have to get in lockstep or be left out.
Biden’s incompetence has created a vacuum for people to take advantage of our borders, military and their own interests. The unrest in the world starts at his desk. His weak leadership, incompetence and social agendas have weakened the US.
It’s not comparative at all. But if you want me to make a statement. That is it.

But you don't want to stop his rise in Europe. Okay.
Also, you may want to edit "senile" out of your earlier post. That's not the word you want.

I agree in the sense of statesmanship and being a forward thinking and resolute leader. With you.
But his optics were terrible at times and his agenda as far as race relations set us back 40 years or more.
But I agree. On the world stage, he was good.

your equivalents are false. Shouldn’t our leaders be able to quote text from 1776?
I 100% guarantee you Biden can’t name the signatures on the bill of rights right now.
Putin just stated that it’s war mongering effort to extort taxpayer dollars into the hand of weaponry. And I 100% agree. I don’t like Putin, he is a dictator is sheep’s clothing, but I can tell you this..he speaks truth in that sentence. Our leadership is fear mongering and banging war drums cause it makes them money.
So infuriating

Is his history lesson off base? Srs question. I tend to take people at their word when they speak factually-sounding... Clearly this guy should never be taken at his word.... but I haven't done my own research yet.

Not sure about the history part, but he definitely moves from his baseline (specifically breathing and eye movement - sort of has this exaggerated upward right eye shift) when he starts talking about the denazification of Ukraine. He had a nice long drink of water after that to wash those lies out of his mouth.

his bit on the USD sounded familiar...

"I think the West's response to Russia invading Ukraine was a very short sighted strategy that served as a catalyst for other nations to find alternative means of processing transactions at a global scale for critical commodities.
That response forced our "enemy" nations into an agreement, seeing how powerless they were from a global economic perspective. These little blips will continue to get reactions from the US, further strengthening new ties and said agreements - ultimately forcing other commodity rich nations to de-risk their GDP valuations by finding alternate means of transacting."
https://www.tigernet.com/clemson-forum/message/imo,-as-an-obvious-non-political-strategist,-is-ww3-is-only-on-the-table-34354995#34354995
Putin slamming the West's strategy of economic sanctions and evaluating the ramifications across the globe are 100% spot on, obviously IMO.
Neither Trump nor Biden could articulate this, IMO. Idk of any elected US politician that could, actually.
