If you want to sell your tickets, then either serl them at face value or make a little profit. But what people are doing is downright greedy.
Nothing to you sir. I just have a thing against greed.

Football tickets aren't a necessity so the price gouging argument doesn't float with me. I'm not going to judge anyone for charging a fair market price.
Is it ridiculous that run of the mill neighborhood houses in Mt Pleasant are going for $500K to $1M right now? Are all of those people selling their homes over there just greedy ######## too?

The market will dictate whether those prices are reasonable or not. As others have mentioned, much fewer tickets are available this year. If those prices are outrageous, as you state, then no one will buy them.

I guarantee that no matter what they sell these tickets for, they have spent way more money on the total ticket deal this year than they could ever hope to get back.

I've never understood why folks get upset with folks for selling something (tickets/parking passes) for the market value that said item is bringing. The whole, "You people are ripping off Tiger fans" argument is dumb because someone had to pay the for the tickets, the IPTAY dues, etc.....and in most cases that said person has been paying those dues for many years....even when the tickets could not move for $10 outside of the gate on game mornings. During the lean years I remember folks giving out free tickets to those offering to pay a nominal fee.

1) "I’m Judge Keller" TRUE. I mean, duh!
2) "I'm a woman" TRUE. Nice lady, but not a particularly cute one. Kinda "butchy", but yeah definitely a female.
3) "It’s met me" TRUE. Yup. Maybe it was the uniform that made you appear butchy? Do you like girls JudgebeOrange? Hmmm? Lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
4) "I have multiple personalities" TRUE. Well in reality, I will retract that. You don't have different personalities per se, like Sybil, but you definitely have at least 3 usernames and use the BloodbeKeller handle to TU a majority of your JudgebeOrange posts plus TD about 90% of every post I've ever made here. You know this is true - it would sooo comical if the moderators finally showed the TDers. You actually take the time to TD any post of mine then TU some arbitrary post just so you can TD another of mine. It's in the record Karen. Definitely a strange, emotionally immature behavior, but as far as different personalities.. nah I wouldn't say that. In fact you don't even try to hide that same passive aggressive teenage girl personality with any of them. Its all the same, and that's what makes it so funny and why several before me have called you out.
5) "I also TD all it's posts" TRUE. Well, not "all".. just like 90% like I said.
You're hilarious, Karen. But hey, at least you FINALLY let out the truth. I bet it's refreshing too, huh? You go girl! I am genuinely happy for you.

you decide how much you want to gouge.. then start itemizing like you are being audited by the IRS to justify the cost
2nd rule: if that is too much work.. just start spouting of economic principles as if they are absolute scientific principles.

I agree with you. No one was bemoaning the fact that I couldn't get $1 for a ticket at the end of Tommy West's time at Clemson or the fact that I could seldomly get face value for a ticket after the first loss of the season under T Bowden.
The free market works. If the scalper charges too much for the ticket, they will not sell and the scalper will take the loss.

ehhh....even then, single game tickets will be in the top rows of the upper deck. Demand is generally higher for lower bowl and the supply is a bit more limited. The other thing that drives people wild is that face value is the same for every seat in the stadium. Sure your single game ticket in the nosebleeds may have cost $80. But lower deck on the 50 20 rows back? Same face, different value.

I agree with that 100%. I have said all along prices are way to high when the seller is adding in IPTAY fees and seat equity. If I buy from a ticket booth those fees are not added in. Plain folk trying to attend a game but money greeedy seller jacking up the price.

I redshirted, but if you were to tack on the seat equity fee to the face value, are the tix that overpriced? I haven't looked to see what the tix are going for. As the late Dr Hugh Macaulay, Economics prof at Clemson would say,"The markets work."

When I sell my tickets, I always try to get as much money as I can get. If no one buys at the asking price, I lower the ask.
This complaint seems always to come from buyers when the team and the tickets are in demand. I would guess the FSU ticket buyers are very very happy this year.

StubHub visitor side, LL tix on the 20 for the Miami game are listed at $154/ea. For perspective, the visitor side 20 yd tix we got for the Bama-Ole Miss game were $120/ea and included a parking pass. They were purchased from the Ole Miss tix office so no 25% surcharge. Sometimes it's good to be #2 in the polls and get cheaper tix">">">
