but if it's with 2nd 3rd string players then what can they do. If the other team isn't able to stop you, should you tell your team quit playing?? It's hard to say what's right or wrong but if they had starters in up by 50 or 60 I would be highly upset.

really mean. Seriously, 56-10 is insane but is 78-0, or 70-21 really any different. IMO, it's not a bit different. Game in control throughout so all these points looks nice and flashy, but I wonder exactly what the CFP committee will think ??

If it's a lot of run plays with backups I have no issue. I was merely wondering if they also get accused of running up the score. I assume nationally people know we've arrived because we are starting to get some serious hate.

Yes, good point indeed Clemson13... Even if they did throw some if it was with 3rd stringers then I don't fault them as how nice for them to get to play and score, but still 78 points you may want to call dogs off. Harbaugh is a tool though, don't like him regardless.

They only scored 14 last week and won by 7. Rutgers is FCS bad I am starting to think.

bigger numbers up but our coach doesn't deem it mecessary to completely himiliate an opponent. Shortened quarters, starters out in 1st quarter in some games, all class and I would rather have that over a 78-0 drubbing of inferior opponent. Looks kinda pathetic on behalf of Michigan in a way, but Rutgers effort must have been VERY poor.
