Interesting that in less than 6 month's of Israel's "9-11" the demands for a them to adopt a 'humanitarian' response are being demanded. After the US 9-11 we went on a 20 year rampage through the middle-east, even going so far as to call it a "War on Terror" that saw $trillions spent, regimes toppled, cities destroyed, and thousands of Soldiers and "non-combatants" wounded or dead... I guess if we didn't have double-standards we wouldn't have any standards at all...

greatest things to ever happen in the history of human beings. Our modern day problem is that we seem to be doing everything we can to bypass or throw away the best parts of Western Civilization that our forefathers so carefully wrote into our US Constitution - all upon the alter of political expediency and a quest for ever more concentrated Government power.
But back to this US resolution.... I'm not really opposed to it so long as we get our hostages back (if they are even still alive) and Israel is satisfied they have done enough to stop Hamas from killing their citizens again. But either way - you have to admit it is awfully "rich" for the US to be demanding Israel stop their military operations when you reflect upon our 20 year military response to 9-11....

Yeah I agree, we don’t exactly have the moral high ground when it comes to excessive exploding of Arabs. Still have to feel bad for the innocent victims of this conflict, Israeli and Palestinian.

Strategically, I thinks it's a ploy to further diminish our weapons stockpiles, but I obviously have no way of knowing their actual status.

If the US is "for" something they will simply be "opposed" to it... That and they know that the longer this Israel-Hamas thing goes on the more dissension it will create within segments of the American public and they love it when the US has internal strife.
Let's be honest, China and Russia could not give a flip flying f**k about the humanitarian suffering or dying of civilians of any race or religion so long as it doesn't threaten their own power....

If Mexico shot one rocket into the US, we know the response would be swift and deadly. If Mexico shot 11,000 rockets into the US, there would be no more Mexico.
