Historical Accomplishments Help Other Teams!

Historical accomplishments and affiliation with a winning conference helps those other teams stay ahead of Clemson "for the moment"!

Not to worry, there will be some of them that lose; either before they play each other or when they play each other.

The pollsters probably don't give Clemson the credit it deserves because of "last year"! But, to your point OP, had another team beaten the teams we had in the 1st 5 games they would be ranked higher!

Especially because, given who they have played and struggled with, there is nobody ahead of Clemson that I would say, "has no question marks"!

Agree!

We have to watch our butts. I think FSU is on the brink of "being back" and we go to their house. Syracuse is currently 5-0 - so if things hold up that's another ranked opponent. I think FSU will be ranked by the time we play them too.

We are good even if none of that happens though.

The Big 10 basically has the Big 10 east only in terms of ranked teams. Minnesota is; maybe still are but they aren't that team. They will cannabalize themselves. Clemson will be fine; if we handle our own business.

The losing to wake forest at home that worry you? Guess they did hang 40+ on bc. Don’t get me wrong we shouldn’t take anyone for granted.
