They are both bad for different reasons. Neither is good for America.
The only other choices are RFKjr and Haley. Just sad. If Haley manages to stay in I'd vote for her but she's the only chance at a decent President. She's not my first choice by a long shot but she may be the only choice I can make.
Last election I had no choice so I didn't vote for President. Didn't even have a primary to vote in.

Interesting watching that Putin interview. I've seen clips. He says what almost all Americans know, but don't want to believe. This country isn't run by the President. It wasn't really under Trump either. It's run by an invisible bureaucracy. You can just watch Biden talk and you know he's not running the show. I think this press conference though was clearly his own idea, demand, and a huge mistake.
But Trump was no different. Literally DOZENS of times Trump's cabinet would refuse his orders and demands as enacting them would cause a Constitutional crisis.
On a broader note, I've lamented for years at the lack of replacements for musicians, actors, movie stars, etc. We're recycling movies into numerous sequels, and famous stars like Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood, among many others, are still acting, and are still stars. WHY!!!??? Where is the new blood, the new 20-somethings who will run things in Hollywood, Nashville, LA, and the government? Where is the leadership at ALL LEVELS? And how did we get to the point we'd rather watch old men acting, singing, and leading the nation over young(er) people, like in their 50's or 40's? I just see a larger problem in America other than our politics. It's a bigger, and broader problem IMO, and it's getting to be a liability in entertainment, politics, and who knows where else. We need younger generations to step up, at all levels, and I just don't see that happening, in a broad sense.

But seriously, if I was gonna bother to really reply to Cashmoney, I would say that my reply was not to the OP, it was to Neal who said "Anybody that votes for him is also a brain dead idiot". Since I voted for him(really against Trump tho) in 2020, I took a little offense to that and also since the only 2 choices were Trump or Biden, my post was to point to some of the reasons why I chose the lesser evil over the other. So, not really whataboutism, it was and will be a binary choice. I understood a vote for Trump in 16, understood it less in 20 after watching that for 4 years and can't fathom why anyone would now after the events of 11/3/20 to 1/7/21. And yes, I'm pissed off that it appears that these will be the final 2 standing for 2024, hence the "Go Haley 24" at the bottom. It should #### all of us off!

He said the documents were secure in his garage. We all saw the photos of the open boxes. He also said he didn’t willfully take the documents which is not what the Special Prosecutor said.
The take away is as the Babylon Bee satirically said, Not fit for trial, but fit to be President.

I really don't know why the D's want this old fool running again. Someone, probably Jill, has him convinced that he is the ONLY person the D's have that can beat Trump. I think Gavin could step right in and beat Trump if he did it now. There's some reason that this is not happening, and I don't know what it is. Maybe Jill just likes the power or they're trying to get Kamala inserted as President since there is no way Biden makes it until January 2029 if he's reelected.

Either the prosecutor is correct and he’s unfit to be president, or he is fit to be president and the justice system is corruptly giving him a pass. There is no choice C, and yet minutes after he was released, as if on cue, the real thinkers in the crowd started up with “LEAST HE AINT TRUMP”, as if that absolves the situation that we likely find ourselves in, with zero idea who has been calling the shots for 3 years now.

this very board demonstrate. They simply shrug and rationalize the whole issue as a brain dead Biden is simply a better choice than "tyrant Trump". They completely buy into the DC swamp's construction that we only have a choice of Biden and Trump because they are apathetic as to who is our President, or in the case of Biden - pulling his strings, simply as long as it is not Trump.
The reality is that Biden's issue is in no way linked to Trump though that is the exact false choice we are being fed by the power brokers pulling Biden's strings. Only in this f'd up reality we find ourselves can Democrats successfully pin the blame for having a brain dead Biden as their 2024 Democratic Candidate as somehow the answer to Trump winning the 2024 Republican nomination.
The "if Republicans would only get rid of Trump" crowd somehow ignore and excuse the DNC's culpability for continuing to push Biden as their 2024 Presidential candidate - knowing very well that Biden is mentally unfit. The DNC simply get's a pass because... well... it's Trump....
The truth is that Biden can only be the Democratic candidate so long as the DNC apparatus wishes it to be so. The DNC has been pushing this brain dead f**ker on us while actively preventing anyone else in their Party from challenging Biden's candidacy. The Democrats and the DNC are responsible for candidate Biden and they need to be made to own it and FIX it.
The Democrats completely control the 2024 Biden candidacy right how. The only reason we will have a Biden vs Trump race is if the DNC deems it to be so. They control 50% of the candidate offering for President - so anyone who espouses it's the Republicans fault we are left with a Biden vs Trump choice is being disingenuous at best.
