Seems like some of these guys might be figuring out that if you go to Log Jam U and don't get on the field, those promises of NIL don't hit quite the same. Gotta see the field to be shown the money.

Maybe this will be what levels the HS recruiting playing field. The "self correction" will be the continued tidal wave of transfers. Rather than seeing the UGAs, FSUs and Bamas sweep the recruiting class rankings, we'll probably see some of that talent spread out to places they can get on the field but it will still likely funnel up to those schools from the portal.

Wonder how long this state of flux persists until another model shakes out?

How many times have we heard "former 5-star (or 4-star) recruit" XYZ has entered the transfer portal.

IMO, I think the top dogs in HS recruiting will continue their dominance because of the appeal of coaches, NIL, facilities, etc.

Speaking of log jams look at the QB room full of transfers at Louisville.

Plummer, Allan, Bailey, Shough. 4 guys transferred in, only one will start.
