LOL. Clemson fans forgetting about Danny? This guy is such a cry baby who is out of touch with reality.
"Saban is the best recruiter of all time".
Spurrier obviously stating he would win the SEC and NC with Saban's players. Again, being a baby.
Can you coots dispute that Spurrier thinks he is the greatest coach of all time given' equal talent? Funny that he doesn't acknowledge the talent advantage he had while at FL. He is going to be a really tough person to deal with when his program starts settling into mediocrity, much less when we beat him in The Valley this year.

And he built that team from the ground up. Ditto at Duke. Ditto at USC. Everyone in the country, save the posters on this Board, readily acknowledge that he is one of the best of all time.
I think his comment about Saban was spot on. The guy IS the greatest recruiter of all time. And, btw, Spurrier DID beat Saban with inferior talent when Alabama was ranked #1 and was riding a 17 game win streak.
Finally, the program isn't "settling" anywhere. A pre-season top 10 ranking and a recruiting class sitting in the Top 3. Tell me how that's "mediocre"?
