It was $468 today.
I wonder how that worked out for him?
In 2017, he predicted a global financial meltdown resulting in the outbreak of WW3.
In September of 2019 he said Index funds were the next market bubble, just like CDO's.
Then he said in 2/21 there would be a market crash. How did that work out?
In March of '21 he said Bitcoin price was "unsustainable". It was around $84K then. Today, its about $107K. It's been as high as $123K.
In June of 2021, after a two-month hiatus, he was at it again, claiming that “the greatest speculative bubble of all time in all things” is underway, suggesting that the S&P 500 could decline over 50% in the coming years.
On August 14, 2023, Burry made bearish bets against the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, betting over 90% of his portfolio on a market crash.
I don't know how that guy has any money left. He's been wrong a lot more than he was ever right.

it is a lot of projection with him

a projection hoping that some fund managers will agree and go short with him.
The fact that he's betting 80% of his fund's portfolio against two of the hottest companies out there......he's obviously a genius, but also he's a genius because he has saved 20% of the dough to pay those margin calls.

I should switch to PUTs and SHORTs. I'm very good at picking stocks that are

going to go down. : - )
Seriously though, the ability for masses of folks to communicate, coordinate, or just follow others makes for some market manipulation.
EDIT: At the market's open, all of my "AI" stocks are down...
SOUN, RGTI, PLTR, NVDA, TEM all down between 5% and 9%

"Palantir Technologies (PLTR) shares sank 9% even though the company posted record quarterly results that blew past analysts' estimates and raised its full-year revenue outlook for the third straight quarter."

I’ve been long on PLTR since April at just under $100. Even back then I thought it was ridiculously priced (now just completely stupid but staying long) but I look at it as part of the lucrative “follow the money FedGov / Trump trade”. Would not own if orange man was not in office.
I think we are due for some volatility and VIXY is calling my name.
