And I'll assume, for argument's sake, that he really is a Wake fan, although I have my doubts.

1. No, we don't have ol' Chuck at the helm anymore, but the guy we do have will probably end up being more productive in Rob Spence's system than Whitehurst was. And it's hard to argue with that based on his performance to date. Translation - bad news for little Deacs. And speaking of losing a starting quarterback - didn't yours have to have his throwing arm surgically reattached or something? And is your starting running back going to petition the NCAA to take his crutches onto the field with him?
2. You have "dominated" us the last 5 years? Really? You and I must have different definitions of the word "dominate", because the facts (sorry house Coots) don't really lend themselves to that interpretation. To wit: From 2001 - 2005, Wake has outgained Clemson 2032 - 1908 in the 5 games played (a whopping 124 yards) and has outscored Clemson 143-133 (10 whole points, for you liberal arts grads). That's an average of 2 points and 25 yards per game. And as for the most important stat of all - we've won 3 of the 5. Dominiation? Don't think so. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
3. So you shut our running game down last year, huh? That's a pretty bold statement to make, considering we outrushed you 150 - 133, including 2 touchdowns by "Heisman wanna-be" James Davis. You prefer qualitative stats instead of quantitive? Yards per carry: CU - 3.95 WF - 3.24. If you shut our running game down, what did we do to yours?
4. Your special teams outplayed ours thanks to one of the most boneheaded calls by a head football coach in college football history. If Bowden lets Dean drill that field goal, were not even having this discussion.
5. Yes, we lost to BC (by one point in double-OT) drubbed UNC, and beat FSU in Tallahassee, which you seem to think is cheapened by the fact that NC State has won there 2 times in the last 6 years. Can you name any other ACC schools who have won down there during that time? Wake Forest, maybe? Please. We punked a #9 Seminole team in Doak - something your squad will NEVER do. Deal with it.
6. When all else fails, bring up Danny Ford! Loser. I'm still waiting for a tractor reference.
7. You will have a better record next weekend at 5-0 because you have played such powerhouses as Duke, Ole Miss, Liberty, and Syracuse. Are you actually proud of this?

9. Please. before your 2 wins over Clemson, the only thing your school was known for was lame keggers and hairy women. And if I paid $30,000 per year for a college, I would hope that school would at least be in the top 30. And check your rankings - Clemson is #57, if I recall correctly.
10. You think this is an ADVANTAGE for you? Please tell me you're joking. Field turf actually increases the value of speed, something Clemson has infinitely more of than Wake. Our biggest concern is that C.J. Spiller and Jacoby Ford will hit light speed and go back in time and be lost for the rest of the game.
11. Grobe is a great coach, I'll give you that. Is he "head and shoulders" above Bowden? He does have his number, but I'll guess we'll see next weekend. Enjoy Grobe while you've got him - he'll be in the Big 10 or Big 12 in no time.
I really regret that I have dignified such trife with a response, but I just couldn't help myself. Now get ready to have the field raked with your Deacon a$$. See you on the 7th.
