Can anyone explain to me the ACC tournament 4th seed? Last night after the game the announcer said the only way for Clemson to get the 4th seed was for Pitt to lose on Saturday. Now I hear that if Clemson beats Wake or Pitt loses . Clemson will be the 4th seed. What is the correct answer? TIA.

If we beat Wake, we are 4th seed at worst.

We could finish third if Virginia loses Georgia Tech and Pitt beats NC State.

We can also lose to Wake and still finish fourth if Pitt loses to NC State.
