Wow, I really was interested in seeing Arik Gilbert play. What a horrible waste of potential. Must really have some mental issues.

What was it... UGA, LSU, Nebraska,....? Something was for sure up with this kid to get past both of those schools before getting caught.

I was just about to post this. What waste of insane God given talent!

Signed initially with LSU. Year later transfered to Florida then UGA, now Neb.

As Sr. 101 rec. 1760 yd 14 TD
Highest rated TE prospect in 247.com history (up to that point don't know of this still stands)
Projected as NFL 1st round pic (when eligible)
An SEC player development guru said he was the best prospect in his class regardless of position
Best TE prospect since OJ Howard

Could you imagine a heart and drive of say a Hunter Renfrow in a body like that. 6'6 260 nimble as a cat, good speed. I really wanted to see this kid. I figured he was going to cause all kinds of trouble for defenses but he caused a different kind. Sad.
