firsthand what happens when you let a Big 12 Team into the college football playoffs. Hopefully, they will think 2x before ever doing something as stupid as this ever again. I also imagine the CEO of Dr Pepper is going to rip them a new one in the morning.

he is not used to late middle-aged "men" acting like they are 12 years old on a message board.
Maybe as a lunger, he does not realize that the median IQ of this board is about 68.

T-net boreds is interesting. While there are an ungodly number of trolls and vag's on the mange, the majority of our valued members aren't low IQ blokes and Sheila's. Again, I don't lounge, but would bet from some of the folks that stop in, they aren't morans either.

and they won it all tonight. Everyone else has been playing for 2nd and it'll be the same next year -- Kirby's built a juggernaut.
Normally I'd take umbrage to such an obtuse cheap shot at the Big XII (given the ACC as a whole and Clemson's bed wetting at the O-Bowl) but at 65-7, hard to muster a quippy comeback.

This what will happen once they expand the playoffs to 12 teams and worse if they go to 16 teams. IMO it should stay at four if you want quality.
$17 beer and they wonder why college football attendance is down for 5 or 6 consecutive years.

1 point... If Dabo pulled DJ and lets Klubnik get a shot on those final 3 drives, Clemson would've been in the playoffs. Then, who knows what happens.
I bet you Dabo & The Boys would've put up more of a fight than TSUC did.

I hope the Committee will start remembering the stellar record of the B1G as well. Let's not forget that TCU beat Michigan to get there.

This can only be known in hindsight. I realize there were reasons to doubt, but no one knew it.
Fact is, I'm happy TCU got in. In 1981 we were TCU, then again in 16. The fact that TCU got in indicates the system is not entirely rigged. Recall those on here who stated that would Bama get in it was a sure sign the system was rigged? And lets not forget, TCU was undefeated... that ain't easy no matter who you play.
TCU deserved their shot and do have others that hindsight proves overachachieved in the regular season. I think there is something inherently American about letting TCU in based on their achievements even though reasonable minds would argue they were out of their league.
