I just watched his postgame and he’s just going thru the motions. I don’t know what the tarholes are paying him, but the whole relationship is such a joke. Really says something about the folks calling the shots at unc.

They were looking for lazy way to compete and back fired. should have gone after a good group of 5 defensive minded HC and made a huge mistake.

100% agree. UNC decision makers thought we could short cut our way into relevance by throwing piles of money at an old fart who is more interested in spending bye week on vacation with his granddaughter , I mean girlfriend. I have to believe Mack Brown is sitting in his beach house laughing.

Excellent point. At a certain age it’s just human nature to want to relax and enjoy the fruit of your labor. I suppose that age differs for everybody but at age 61 I am not nearly as career focused as I was at 40. I’m sure at 73 there’s no way I’ll give a rats behind about work.

Just one man's opinion but I think he thought it would be easy. Kids would line up to play for the great Belichek, have them competing for championships within 3 years. Then retire leaving the next man up (his son) to reap the rewards.
