But I have a hard time believing any of our coaches seriously felt that Cole was better than CK. He must have been a SERIOUS head case to remain buried on the depth chart like that...

cole before chad decided to go postal... again.
cole was not named the starter until after CK was shown the door. deshawn was on the shelf after breaking his collarbone.
the only reason chad isn't at clemson is chad. if he'd kept his cool he had all summer and the fall to win the job.

Good point, that is true. And Dabo doesn't subscribe nearly as much to the whole "seniority equals seniority" mentality that TBowden had. It's much more of a pure meritocracy with Dabo, as it should be. I for one am glad the whole situation unfolded in a way that allowed a young DW4 to rise to the top!

worst enemy and dabo's shown a number of times he's willing to work through issues with his players so...
anyway, chad ate chad and though i'm happy DW4 is our qb, i'm still disappointed CK lost his way.

That's not entirely true. Of course Kelly threw a tantrum during the spring game, but the day he was escorted away from the WEZ- he was meeting with Dabo and told that Cole had won the job. Then he lost it. Even physically went after Dabo, thus security was called. AR that point, he had to go.
I do not blame chad for being upset with the decision. He's clearly the better of the 2 qbs. I do blame Chad entirely for how he handled those emotions. That simply cannot happen.

Coots aren't allowed in the WEZ.

BS.
The meeting had absolutely nothing to do with Dabo telling Chad that Cole would be starter.
Chad did lose his cool in the WEZ but it won't because Cole was being named starter.

Is it true that he really went after Dabo or is that just a rumor?
I thought the Ali Rogers incident was the straw that broke the camel's back, after the all of other incidents he'd had.

I'm glad that he is gone and Watson can develop the way he needs to without some selfish ###### in his way.
