Is a really good play caller that can absolutely help this team win a national championship. Not saying it’ll be this year due to the Duke game but if he stays I feel really good about our offense. Going back and rewatching the first two games the scheme is different and not the problem. WRs have been running open all over the field Cade has just missed them. Once they get Cade completely settled in I fully expect this offense to look like we are use to a Clemson offense looking.

No, I asked about Dook. CSU is an FCS program. I would expect our receivers to win those battles against a glorified high school team.

I see 3 open receivers and 1 receiver covered by 3 guys... That play has to be a completed pass, no other way to look at it. No idea what Cade is seeing back there but surely he is capable of going through a progression to find an open guy and throw the ball. Much to learn he has, and let us all think positively that he can get it corrected

That was the major problem I saw in the Dook game. He doesn't seem capable of processing his checkdowns. And even then, he bails out of the pocket before plays can progress.

I agree 100% with you. He is high unsettled in the pocket. When he needs to run he doesn't. When he needs to stay in the pocket and throw to an open receiver he is either late or forces a pass that he should have never thrown.

He made a comment in one interview about having trouble seeing over his linemen. I was kind of surprised to hear that. Makes me think he is more comfortable rolling out than sitting in the pocket, which is also evidenced by his "happy feet" in the pocket.

better to turn us around? Duke game blew but if you had to choose an OC to be responsible to get us back right then Riley is as good as any of them. Clemson fan base has just been conditioned to complain about everything lately. ITs like fire this guy, fire that guy... and then what? Think about what the alternatives are.. .they won't be as good as you think they'll be.
