Surprising, but I agreed with all three of them!
DJ5 needs to play better, and he will. We have Cade in reserve, along with Hunter Johnson..... The objective is to win every game and get better along the way. Then we have to make the playoffs, and win!
Three of the four teams that make the playoff, lose their last game which is no fun! Any team that has a weakness gets exposed in the playoff.
Obviously, we will all be looking forward to Cade in 2023!
Go Tigers, Beat Notre Dame!

McElroy is wise. Can Clemson get in with one loss? That remains to be seen. Will an undefeated Clemson team reach the playoffs. Absolutely. I agree with Herbstreet and him. DJ has done well this year and he has a chance to redeem the loss from his freshman year by defeating ND at South Bend. I expect him to bounce back.

That was actually 'mature' and, apparently, thought out. Glad I was sitting...oops...

He is just setting up a narrative for Alabama to get in with one loss and winning the SEC.

If they win people will say what about Texas and Texas A&M when debating if they should be in. That’s what the ‘“when did we start counting close” comment is about.

DJ will be excellent in the NFL. Cade will be excellent in College and the NFL.

No quarterback that has trouble reading defenses will ever make it in the NFL...they will chew him up and spit him out...what do you think happened to Robert Griffin...all world and never made it past the revolving door!

DJ will not get drafted. If he does that team wasted a pick. He’s so far from NFL ready/talent.
If he’s smart he will graduate this year and go to a group of 5 school for his last year. He’s not starting for Clemson next year.

It was during halftime of the LSU vs. Ole’ Miss game. Did Kirk say something too?

What I hate the most is that we have been unable to blow teams out to allow Cade to have more opportunities. He looked great against GT. I wish we would have blown out Furman and LA Tech. Those should have been games where Cade played most of the 2nd half. The same should have been true for Boston College as well.
I believe that DJ is better and should still start moving forward. But looking at the remainder of the schedule, it's hard to see us blowing out those teams. Unless Miami completely collapses, of course.
