I just got a new, well, previously owned truck. The charger for my phone doesn't work, and it keeps scratching up the screen! Does anyone have any insight on what I should do and how much the dealer will charge to fix it?

That’s an odd looking 8 track player. Did you buy it at a flea market?
Consider putting your phone on top of your car battery. It should charge through osmosis. Just be careful trying to take it off of the charger while driving. It’s tricky raising the hood while rolling down the road.

That should do it.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to say this without offending you... I'm not saying that you don't have a good looking truck...on the contrary... but from the picture it looks like it's getting older.
Sometimes when trucks get older their chargers just aren't as slick as they used to be, so you'll have problems getting your phone in there all the way to really make a good connection and complete the charge. Get some Charging Lube. Trust me, your truck will thank you. Also, if you do a lot of charging it'll cut down on the wear and tear on your phone, which can get so bad that you won't be able to charge anymore until you repair it....NOT good.
You can use lots of different stuff in a pinch, but your truck (and your phone) are worth spending the extra $$ to get the stuff purposely made for charging.
