How many teams can the ACC get into The Tournament?
It feels like we have played our way out of The Tournament. Again.

It would make it easier to fire Brad if we were left out. And it would be his fault for sure.

Firmly in because some clickbait hack “bracketologist” says so??
I really don’t think so.

Firmly in for more than that. They have some really good wins against a really good schedule. Some strong metric ratings that appear on the NCAA Selection Committee's team sheet. Again, losing 3-of-4 to close the season isn't good, but any evaluation based on the whole season has this Clemson team nowhere near the bubble.

It was a very bad finish to the season and we should have done much better. However, based on the criteria that the selection committee has established for inclusion there's no way to leave a team with our resume out.

Final 20 games Clemson’s record was 10-10. Under any of the old systems of selecting NCAA Tournament teams Clemson would be firmly in the NIT.

last night - again (See Morehead State) . . . .
At 10-10 in our last 20 and losing 3 of our last 4 - and already out of the ACC Tourney - we aren't deserving of a bid . . . or AT BEST we should be forced to a play-in game to get in.
And all of this doesn't really matter - because, based on how we have played in our last 4 games, we're losing the next game we have.
Just my opinion - love on CBB - just doesn't make sense to me.

You won't find a post where I specifically defend Brownell. There are far too many people on this board who hate Brownell more than they like Clemson and that's pathetic.
You say we aren't deserving of a bid; you're absolutely wrong. Again based on every criteria the committee uses for selection it ain't even close; as has been said, we're firmly in.

don't expect us be successful but this team earned a bid overall
wins at Bama, at UNC, at Pitt, at Cuse TCU neutral - 1 pt losses to Memphis, Duke, and UVA. We played well in Feb- much better than Jan and start to ACC. It's easy to focus on the negative and the ND and BC games particularly leave a what you have done lately bad taste but ND was without Clark on their SR night and they were on a decent stretch. BC effort and performance was horrendous - wasn't just the fact that we lost. Brad underachieves in the most important moments and thinks too much of some players that are too wildly inconsistent from game to game.

bad team in the ACCT and badly, finish 6th in the ACC and still get in. I'm still doubtful, but I know I'm one of the few. They must have alot invested in the NET. It used to depend a little bit on who the hot team was because you never wanted to back in to the tournament. Still a disappointing year considering.

They're in "thin ice for an NCAA Tournament bid right now. If they make it, There's a good possibility they lose in the 1st round. This is a BB program that doesn't have a good look.

We got some big breaks early on. One, this bc with post and the other guy beats us in January.
Uab pressures us on the inbound pass, we'd have had to hit a half court shot and we were blessed to get that call.
Bama doesn't have the same line-up they had when we beat them in November. Most teams change and mature through the year. We regress.
So, while we have some good non con dubs, we don't best those teams today.
Unc without Tribble gve us a chance in Chappell hill. So some blame a loss to duke on refs, we had our breaks too
