you're not telling facts. almost everything in your post is incorrect. Cade was 5 years old the one and only time Clemson has played Coastal Carolina. He is 6-5 overall as a starter. And he's 2-2 against ranked teams at the time they played. So try again TY-LUR.

He basically played the entire UNC game. DJ should not be credited with that win. He was benched early in the first. I also think Cade should get credit for the Syracuse win. Without him we lose that game

Sorry if i pissed off the group with the post, but Cade is a very nervous QB that makes a lot of mistakes. I think if we had any better option behind him DABO would have taking it by now. Not all his fault for sure but they are leading the country in points off turnovers. Just thought it was interesting that so many QBs after had winning records that werent as high regarded. Feels a little similar to Willy Korn, But obviously not that bad (probably get 7 more thumbs down for that comparison) Ya also my bad on Coastal I meant Charleston Southern.

but that's what 19 and 20 year old kids do.
That said, Cade just beat a QB who is in his 6th year playing at the NCAA level and is slightly older than Trevor Lawrence who is in his third season in the NFL.

Now, this statistic of Cade being 5 - 5 as a starting QB is believable.....but what I still can't believe is that he was rated as a 5 star recruiting prospect as a QB.

Well hopefully the coaching staff doesn't use your assessment of his play, especially since you weren't watching a game Cade played in if Coastal Carolina was in it.

Just looking from way out in the woods.....
It seems a bit unjust to dump the losses on Cade.
Yes, his problems have been obvious, but I think it's not due to him having raw talent. It is due to lack of experience and maturity. Perhaps coaching? He ranked #3 in total fumbles for example. That's something that can be fixed.
Overall Klubnic stacks up reasonably well
Completions 62.8%, Rushing 9.0 per carry Int through 9 games: 6
DW in his first full season with arguably a much better oline and recievers
Completions 67%, Rushing 13.8 yard per carry, Int full season 17
TL in his first season..same again..superior supporting cast
Completions 65.8%, Rushing 6.9 yds per carry, Int for full season 8
DJ first season
Completion percent 55.6%, Rushing 10.9 yd per carry, Interceptions 10 (the only one with a negative TD-to-interception ratio)
I think he is on course to do just fine. It is a total team problem

Vizzina, last I seen was 4th on the depth chart. Spring game Helms looked light years ahead of the other back ups we had.

If we’re to be honest with ourselves CK was thrown into the position too soon. I think his ceiling is a lot higher than what we’ve seen so far but we started seeing him too early because DJ simply wasn’t getting it done and then hit the portal. Dabo knew he needed to get him experience last year but his hands were forced. I see improvement and especially since the freshmen stood up

We saw this against ND. Those waiting their chance to play performed better than the injured starters.

Cade won’t lose another game as the starter … we will win out this year and next year this team (barring a ton of transfers) is set to be really really good in year two with Riley and a defense that is loaded.
