Great Take!
Bowden brought the best coach ever to Clemson.
He ran a clean, solid program, and a nice man. An administrator.
Tommy’s weakness was coaching games! Terry was aa coach, like his dad.
Without Tommy Bowden, there is no Dabo at Clemson.

Without Tommy Bowden, there is no Dabo at Clemson.

Amen; not only did he bring Dabo, but he built up the facilities to respectable. Tommy did A Lot. There’s much more to it than the record; especially when you have to build it from the basement.

Cobbox called many players on our basketball team "quitters", but instead of getting upset about that, you get upset about discussion of additional staff. Even more interesting is additional staff has been cited as one of our needs by CBB's biggest supporters.
It's getting really hard to know what is, and isn't, ok to discuss when it comes to Clemson basketball.

He hasn’t coached at Clemson in a long time. I’m just glad Clemson didn’t settle for the results he produced as a head coach.

Seems mean spirited,unnecessary,and untimely. Coach Bowden has been off the hot seat longer than he was on it.
Bowden was a head coach for 12 years, his lifetime record of 90-39 means he won 64.7% of his games.
Tommy Bowden is a stand up guy who wore orange, coached the Tigers and owned South Carolina. (He won 61.5% of his games at Clemson. I was no big fan of Bowden but he coached Clemson and was a winner.
(Not worth much, but fun to know that Coach Bowden had a better record at Clemson than Dietzel, Holtz, Spurrier and pretty much any other SC Gamecock coach anyone can name.)
