Have heard Auburn fans say that Clemson copied their

mascot and colors to a certain extent, but I have seen on a few occasions they they use the paw. Not often, but sometimes and they have it painted on the Tumers square. Today, I notice they have started spelling out AUBURN after their fight song, like we spell CLEMSON. I don't remember them doing that in years past. Certainly, I don't remember them doing it in the two games they lost to us the last two years.
I sure am glad we were the ones that ended their 17-game winning streak when they were defending champs. I know they went 8-5 that year and only beat the coots, but still glad we ended their streak. Here's hoping we get to enjoy hearing them cry about not playing for the national title and that they lose their bowl game.

why they play the UGA fight song is baffling

even if they claim it "first" or whatever, 90% of America knows it as UGA's fight song. I'd find something else.

Exactly, I think it was John Heisman who left Auburn and brought the colors, tiger rag, mascot etc to a new Tiger town

Came from Auburn, started the football program. School colors were originally blue and gold and were also chosen by senior classes originally.

They were definitely spelling Auburn when we played them

They were doing it in 2007. They have done it all 4 times I have seen us play them.

thought it had to do with the military or something...I KNOW I've read before somewhere that fact or maybe even heard it in trivia...?
