pick up for fswho.
i've seen some say he won't stay all 3 & will look to the nfl. i'd be interested to know if this was another loss to "academics" or dj choosing fswho as his best option to the next level?

which was my offering.
it's a big pick up for fswho & i'm more concerned with his process. hopefully some light can be shed on the "why" a clemson fan growing up made this choice, if it was solely his to make.

hopefully with speedracer's post it's clear, cause honestly, i didn't think it could be anymore so.
now maybe someone has something to offer as to the 'why' he chose fswho and if clemson's troubles with juco transfers was at the root or he thought fswho offered him the best chance at the next level or other?

Suck for both of us. I really thought he would end up with us or y'all. Thought if went out if state it would be Tennessee. Guess FSU blew him away. Our site saying he still plans to take visits so maybe it's not over. Y'alls DT recruiting is going well so not a huge loss. We really need to sign a good DT this class, though I think Wideman ends up a DT if he ever gets in. What's the deal with Huggins? Is he pretty much a lock to Clemson?

Players 4 at the most and the 4th has to be the right player. Clemson has been focused on those few players and that's it and Jones wasn't one of them. Clemson will not get players they aren't pushing hard for at this time. Just like Campbell at WR they aren't going to get him and they aren't pursuing him.

I also agree we are not pushing for Campbell or Hines for any of the others out there who seem to think we will get him. Unfortunate side to all of this recruiting is that when the bus is full, no one else can get on board, we are not SEC.

This guy gave Clemson's coaches all the reason in the world to back off him when he made the selfish statement of "playing one year and entering the draft". Seem to be on a one man mission to the Promise Land. Who can get me there the fastest.

I thought I read that in at least one interview.
He may or may not be good enough to come straight from JUCO to FSU (or Clemson, etc.) and make enough noise to move directly to the NFL.
Guess now we'll see without having to use a scholarship on him.

This kid is a stud he's a sign and plug right in there. Having him and Huggins would've been huge. Imagine how Jones and Pagano would've caused havoc inside. Hopefully Clemson earns a visit from him. Settle has struggled at camps and with grades chances are he red shirts even if we were to land him. Settle needs good coaching and tutor.

FSU is a great school and I am happy he chose a good school especially being from here. I despise FSU like South Carolina, but I honestly feel like we backed off of him somewhat. Whether it was for a red flag, did not feel like we would get him or we had him lower on our board than prospects we think we can get still. Hate to see his talent be used against us, but feel coaches felt like there was a better possible fit available.
