way we beat them less than one season later, you would never imagine they rolled up 50+ on the Aggies.

Natty was that, since it wasn't the Natty, they didn't want to be there. But, last year, they apparently weren't in shape or ready to play IN the Natty, so don't know WHAT the next excuse will be. It'll keep a lot of sportswriters gainfully employed coming up with it, though.

Keep in mind the 2017 season was the end of the Sumlin era for us, and the team knew it. Sumlin didn't have a handle on the team. We had issues retaining QBs under him, some top ones transferred the year and two prior to 2017.

And to start the 2017 campaign, we went to UCLA and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, letting UCLA beat us after having them down something like 40 points (from memory, second largest comeback in NCAA Football history).

It wasn't a surprise to us with the bad coaching we had and a team that was falling apart that we lost to Wake. That was not indicative of the talent we had, but of the coaching.

I don't doubt that y'all had a lot of issues , but losing badly to the smallest Div.1 school in the power 5 and letting them score half a hunnert ?

Inexcusable .
