It’s got nothing to do with democracy, it has everything to do with responsibility and accountability, which most seem to be short on these days. The idiots that walked out, took their ball and went home, knew this would be the likely outcome. Why would you or the voters in Oregon not expect consequences for bad behavior?

I do live in Oregon and it has EVERYTHING to do with democracy. These people who walked out were trying to inflict the rule of minority on the majority. That is absolutely contrary to democracy. They were elected to go to Salem, represent the people that elected them and vote. It's really that simple.
