Unfortunately a few of my friends that served have said that them doing such a traitorous act is exactly what they fight for, even though it makes them sick and upset to see it.

No argument from me. My father told me when he was a POW in Korea that one person would have a flag under their clothes and they would pledge every day and then switch to different guy every day so they wouldn’t catch on. I can still see him, a man’s man with a slight tear in his eye as the star spangled banner would play and he would sing off key with his hand over his heart and his hat in his hand.
He didn’t speak much about that time, but I could tell that flag meant something and I would die defending it too if need be
