Regardless, I think that it was a pretty fair assessment. Reason for concern, yes. Reason to think that it is not correctable, no.

As long as they are Dabo, Jeff Scott, Tony Elliot, Brandon Streeter, and Trevor’s ‘concern’, I’m not worried.
But thanks for propagating the espin bs Tigernet News! Great job! I mean, it’s not like we can watch espin for ourselves, or anything.
When can we expect to start seeing 24/7, TCI, and other site’s headlines?

alright snowflakes, what part about the INTs makes you happy? Obviously "cause for concern" is a bad term, so then we must all be excited about the INTs? You think Dabo was happy about them on the sidelines on Saturday?

Galloway has defended us all year, even when Herbstreit tried to talk him out of it. But JG has always defended Dabo's process and our status as defending champs. So to me his criticism isn't from disrespect. It's honest.
Many of us take our cues from Dabo, and if Dabo defends TL, so do we. Until we're nauseatingly dishonest. But Dabo is different, because Dabo gets to chew him out 6.5 days a week.
I don't. I was honest about KB, and I'll be honest about TL: it comes too easy for him. He is already so physically developed that it's difficult to challenge him. But he has lots more room to grow intellectually and emotionally, and the situations that develop those areas are hard to simulate in practice. TL is like a Tua was last year, and I'm thankful he's getting fooled in regular season games instead of the Natty.
Maybe we'll need to spot BC 17 points, then see how our Tigers respond. Or take away Tee and Ross for a week so he's forced to throw more underneath. Whatever. We simply don't know how good this team is or can be, and so long as our defense keeps playing lights out Trevor's mistakes may never cost us.
Yet the analysts will still worry and talk about it, and the coaches will worry while trying to deal with it. It's part of the growth process.
We all remember how Tua, who is reportedly a very classy young man, didn't respond well (well, not to our Tigernet standards, anyway) emotionally to the loss in the Chip last year. I don't want that to be Trevor this year.
And no, I don't want Tua to have an opportunity to prove how much he's grown since last year.

I too believe this can be turned around by TL. I just keep thinking about Tua throwing 2 INTs against the Tigers (an elite team) and what happened. Immediately Bama was behind and stayed that way except for a brief moment in the 2nd QTR.
INTs against the ACC have not been a problem so far, but in the playoffs INTs will give a great team extra opportunities to score and wear down the defense in the long run. Sometimes throwing the check down passes works to your advantage by getting first downs and wearing down the oppositions defense. Just my thoughts on the subject.

Fair point, but comparing Trevor Lawrence to Same Darnold is a stretch. Sam Darnold simply isn't the same kind of "dude" as Trevor.
I think Trevor can fix his mental decision making process anytime he wants. I believe he wants to, and think he'll have it figured out by the time we're in the CFP. Let them dramatize this all they want, in the end they're just commenting about what they see and guessing about how it'll effect Clemson in the future.
I'll take my chances with an interception-prone Trevor Lawrence over the field ANY DAY.

The only problem with throwing underneath is Hunter is not there anymore, and no one has taken up that responsibility.

Unfortunately there was someone underneath, wide open when he threw one of the picks last week. Prob could have walked into the endzone.

The only concern is, if we didn't have the 2 picks, we would have won by 2 more touchdowns. Our coaching staff will get it fixed.

With the defense that coach V has developed an interception is just a minor inconvenience to the Tigers. If TL throws one inside the opponents 20 it could hurt but he has done that only once. Remember his TD saving tackle?

I wonder if we can go back and get their super insightful analysis of Deshuan Watson. Remeber when he "regressed" and how we wasn't likely to get "drafted high", then cam the play offs

This.
People dumped on DW4 for the exact same thing. I expect TL to do what his predecessor did- do his talking on the field.

I wouldn’t trade Trevor for any QB in college football. He’s still the best QB and player in the country period! It’s a narrative espn is pushing. They believe pressure will affect him but he only gets better under pressure.
Dabo has changed the way he plays by getting him to buy time by running around waiting on big plays to open up. It’s different than they asked him to play last year. It will only make him better in the long run. Dabo is pushing him to be the total package and he has been great already.just staying in the pocket, but he will be incredible by the playoffs this year just wait, we’ll win two more Natty’s with Trevor!

There is an absolute reason to be concerned. if you think there is not, you are ignorant, and maybe stupid too. I wouldn't trade Trevor for anybody, but it doesn't make the way he has been playing in regards to interceptions. It is a big deal. When we play more difficult teams, a turn over like that could be the difference in the game. This is Football 101, can't believe some of the kids here don't get it.

when your QBs is throwing to the middle of the end zone where there are two of the bad guys and our closest receiver is in the endzone along a sideline. there is some splaining needed.
trevor is a great college QB, we know this , but if one considers an interception beautifully thrown, when we had guys open, anything other than cause for concern then your mentality is no greater than a coot's
