I also have the supposedly common knee affliction and it is a nuisance. Mine never really went away- staying inactive for a few months wasn’t possible.
Now I will really feel bad for him when he gets sacked by the best DL in the country!
Go Clemson!

It was something I developed as a kid...

during growth spurts, when bones, muscles, tendons, and other structures were changing rapidly. There is no real treatment for it per se other than trying to reduce the pain and swelling. It was more irritating than anything else, and really didn't have a significant impact on my ability to participate in sports.

Other than having a walnut size knot below my knee cap...

I really don't notice it too much anymore. Wearing a Patella strap was also really effective for me. I didn't use it all the time, just during flare-ups, but when I did it was very helpful.

I hope he doesn't schlatt himself when Parker and Woods bury him into the turf.

I understand Kamala Harris had that in both knees but they healed after she got married.

He only took more than 2 sacks once last season, but he also had an excellent OL. I think he's going to get beat up badly in this game w/ a bum knee behind an inexperienced, patchwork OL.

They had four OLineman and a TE drafted this year! They brought in 2 transfers,

they have one returning starter moving from Center to Guard and a couple of younger players without a ton of experience.
This is definitely going to be interesting to watch. I don't know...but people always tell me that OLines have to gel and communicate. Death Valley is not a great place to start this five, I don't think. If we bring the noise, all those new players who haven't really been on the same team could have an issue. If Nuss is used to having time and staying clean, maybe it rattles him.
We shall see!

Yeahh it's all a pain tolerance thing, when it flares up....it's annoying as ####. If his mobility is limited in the pocket, we better take advantage.

I have dealt with Osgood-Schlatter's from running and basketball. Never bothered me until I was in my 40's, it's common in kids 8-14 years old. Nags constantly, never bothered me during a run, but the swelling and pain after a run would not go away, especially going up hills or stairs. A hit below the kneecap is painful. Not much you can do about it - I quit running based on my orthopedist's advice. Ran with it for about 1-2 years, thinking it was shin splints before finally going to a doctor.

Had the Schlatters in college

running on a hard basketball floor for hours. Pretty painful, but didn't stop me from playing. Was put in ice water up to my knees for treatment, which was a long time ago treatment, and not shots for this either. I'm sure today treatments have improved. Nuss' will be fine and unaffected by this. The adrenalin of the moment if nothing else will kick in.
