but here's his skillset. he would not start at a CFP school

4th Qtr 11:26 -> it take 2 seconds for the ball to go 10-15 yards down field
4th Qtr 10:30 -> just not ability to move athletically

If we would have Hunter Helms skillset against South Carolina last year, we would not have lost to them or Tennessee, because we would have been the CFP. All we needed was someone who could complete those 3 yard outs!

Better QB decisions and pocket presence would have won the game for us against Duke.

Helms clearly better than what we saw from our starting QB against TN, Duke, and Chas. Southern. For that matter, we would all be hard pressed to find any QB anywhere who struggled as much as our starting QB did in TN, Duke, and Chas. Southern games.

We beat Duke if Helms had played QB against Duke … unless a successful FG had been required to pull off the win.

Moving forward, we can only hope that our starting QB is ready to improve in his decisions and pocket presence at the same rate going from Chas. Southern to FL Atlantic as is needed going from FL Atlantic to FSU.
