No, not anymore. Our loss to Louisville changed that. We won't make it far enough down the tiebreaker list for the opponent win % to come into play now.

How? If UVA beats SMU, it's a 3-way tie again. We lose the tiebreaker versus common opponents due to Louisville. Miami and SMU won, we lost.

I know what the tiebreakers are. A 3-way tie with us, SMU, and Miami is not a good scenario for us. We have 2 common opponents - Louisville and FSU. SMU and Miami are 2-0 against those teams, we are 1-1. We lose the tiebreaker in that scenario.

Virginia/Louisville ranking in the standings does not come into play.

Things may have been different for them this season.
They lost big to Notre Dame and at Va. Tech without Haynes King.
His return lifted them to the win over Miami.
They are much improved...probably slightly better than their 6-4 record.
Hoping that they can give UGA fits.
