Yeah, probably at least a couple series sweeps and will probably get run ruled several times. UVA is even looking good.
Encouraged about the freshman hitting. Defense was much better in the Auburn game. But honestly speaking, not sure how good mizzou or Auburn will be. Both lack pitching, so we'll see if our hitting continues.
But we have no business being in this position in year 6.

I know you’ve had concerns of player development under Rittman for years, so let’s see if they improve.
I know you’re not pleased with this being year 6, but we did have such a strong start to a program, I think he’s earned a little grace during a lull. Though, I recognize the lull starting last year, and that was supposed to be the year.

Good gosh ..... there is no reason to overreact after a few games. What Rittman has done in the first few years has been outstanding and like you and everyone else I am disappointed that we have not won every game we have played. We were blessed to have had some great players, but players graduate and others have to take their place. How do you replace a Valerie Cagle? One way is to get players like Macey Cintron, who is already proving that she will be an outstanding player, but we will have to go through some growing pains with all of our other new players. Mainly we have to find exceptional pitchers, and as we have seen, and are seeing now, they don't grow on trees. We will.
I expect that we will probably finish the year around .500 or maybe a little over, but I'm sure not pulling the plug on Rittman or this team. Incidentally, Rittman was not fired at Stanford. He resigned from a program that due to a bunch of things had turned into a quagmire ..... basically half the team pro Rittman and half the team anti Rittman. The team got a lot worse after he left.

Hey Tnet Can you stop with the “SEC” headlines all the time- we are just bowing to their narrative. We lost to Missouri and Auburn. Not the SeC. Please.
I’m so tired of the “SEC wins the …..”. They didn’t win anything , it was a school.

Well this is definitely disappointing and to 2 SEC teams makes it even worse. Hopefully a team that will see improvement as they get more games in. Fingers crossed!
