Did the player slide into the endzone? And shouldn't he have been ruled down where he started the slide? Below I tried to capture where he started his slide. (happy this wasn't overturned...but we've been bit by this rule on multilpe occasions)

I wondered that also. Perhaps the reason for not being overturned was because of it starting out as a head first dive. Glad the Bees won.

Pretty sure you are correct that rule is only for feet-first slides, otherwise it’s whe runner touches down.

The down at start of slide only applies to Quarterbacks. For everyone else it is when a body part that is not a hand hits the ground
