Sure, its a joke referring to how crappy the field always is there and people tearing their knees up. Now the whole post in messed up! (no pun intended)

In the offseason they laser leveled it and installed new turf. Sprigged it, no sod. Grows in as thick without the possible lumps.

Good, the only worse fields I've ever seen was VMI's(I think that one doubled as an obstacle course), and the Cockroach in the last days of that dreadful artificial turf.

I heard they let grass grow long

it was excellent each and every time. It was not laser leveled this summer but row planted (sprigged) with new Hybrid Bermudagrass.

Thought they leveled it too. Who did the sprigging? My son summer interned at Modern Turf in Rembert this summer and was wondering.

Not sure who did the sprigging.....they usually use

Precision Turf for their renovation projects, but I don't know if they used them on contracted directly with the turf farm. I'm not even sure if they went back with T-419 Bermuda or used some of the newer grasses like Celebration or Tifgrand. I guess it is not important, but I'll find out Thursday night. I'll be on the sidelines and ask one of the guys on the crew that know.

The Bermudagrass they used was Latitude 36 and

it was supplied by Sod Solutions. I think Sod Solutions is a pretty large outfit that licenses individual turf farms to grow their grasses, so I suspect it came from a turf farm near Atlanta or maybe even south Georgia.
