Great Memorial Day news

My nephew earned his Special Forces tab as an officer this weekend along with a number of other soldiers. He earned his Ranger, Sapper and Jungle tabs previously. I am amazed at how driven and humble these young men and women are that choose this track in life. Just wanted to pass along some good news on this special weekend.

I had the honor of pinning a Ranger tab on my nephew years ago. I made it through in one shot without having to recycling. Those courses are tough to complete.

Going to the 1st Group. Was stationed in Hawaii before SF training in NC and he likes the Pacific region. Can’t blame him.
