difference was, as it always seems to be in these kind of games, elite QB play. In this case, Sellers would not lose. He wasnt and isnt elite at throwing the ball but he's a beast running the ball and refusing to go down easily. As DW4 once said, let's go be legendary, and Sellers was when the game was on the line. Credit to SC, they saw that and just kept letting him make plays.

Cade brought us back down the field but made a critical mistake at a critical time, ala, FSU and Miami last year. He made a great play at PITT or we wouldnt be in the ACC championship game so credit there. As with that particular play and most with Cade, he seems to be best when he goes fast and doesnt have to process anything or much of anything. Think that comes from him being a system QB growing up at Westlake and nothing can/will change that. In the ACC, we can win 8-9 games like that but we will always struggle against elite defenses. But, we have who we have.

Unless we start doling big NIL $$$, there are no DW4 or TLs out there for us. That being said, I will always support Dabo because most sports fans never get to experience what we did from 2015-2020, epic but probably never happening again.

Sellers made 2 more plays and is basically Cam Newton. Can and could not beat you with his arm. Too call him elite is a joke. Dude better keep to running it or get better wr’s. Just could not get him on the ground and he did play well, but Klubnik was no slouch. Missed on a few throws but overall we get Sellers on the ground… ballgame. More in need of some elite LB’s imo.

Agree, he is not elite but his will to win and his refusal to go down was elite yesterday. Without him, they are probably a 3-9 vs a 9-3 team and they surely dont beat us.

Also, for the record, Cam Newton won a Natty at Auburn and made quite a bit of $$$$ in the NFL so being compared to him is probably not too bad of a thing.

Sellers was awesome and Cade had his chance at the end was could not get it done.

Cade actually played a good game. 280 passing yards and 60 rushing yards. Quarterbacks were practically even. Both had 1 interception. Sellers should have had 3. Mickens dropped 1 and Hampton dropped an easy one. And technically both had a fumble. Might not have charged Cade with it, but the pitch play that Mafah pushed backwards him and Cade I blame. Only reason Sellers is getting the praise is obviously he won.
