Leaving a Legacy: K'Von Wallace showing younger safeties what it takes

One of the best programs to come out of the launch of the ACC Network looks back at the Tigers’ run to 15-0 and the 2018 National Championship, titled “Greatest Ever.” Early in the show, safety K’Von Wallace is shown before the title game against Alabama imploring his teammates to leave it all out on the field. The character of all the players. They leave no doubt they have the heart of champions. After each article they become my new favorite player. Thanks to all involved in recruiting. We will have many great years ahead of us. Go Tigers

Can't forget the play near the goal line at Texas A&M

Aug 25, 2019, 9:27 AM

where he knocked the ball out of the receiver's hands and it
went through the endzone for a touchback. BV said after the
game it proved that you never give up on a play. Wallace
definitely gave it all in that game.

Re: At NC State A few Years Ago..... ---

....Wallace shut the door on NC State when they was on their final drive to break our hearts if they would have scored. Wallace picked that ball off deep in our own territory and returned it to the mid-field with a running stride and speed I've never seen from him before.

To this day I'm glad he is back there at safety though I feel he could play corner too.

I hope Nolan Turner has a career year. Nolan Turner was considered a wasted scholarship by many. They felt Dabo gave him the scholly just because of Dabo’s friendship with his Dad. Now he looks to be a major contributor to the back field.

Dabo is a very smart HC with a Huge Heart. We are so blessed to have him as our HC. He would never fit in at Bama. That’s the place where underhanded, deceitful HC’s like Saban go. It’s a HC’s job where only winning matters. The words integrity, character, moral values and honesty are just words with no action to back them up. Just ask the Miami Dolphins.

Best wishes and prayers NT. Go Tigers

wueagle I respect your opinion bc you are entitled to it, and there are some here on T-net don't believe that we're entitled to our opinions if they're not in agreement with it, and those type are the whiney Biotch type... My opinion is that I don't think that Nolan Turner would have ever been offered a scholarship to Clemson if his dad hadn't been a close friend to Dabo, but, under our coaching staff Nolan has become a legit D-1 college player, and I'm happy that he has worked his butt off to be able to see the field whenever needed, and he hasn't been just a wasted legacy scholarship... I believe that Nolan Turner has put in the work and has earned his time on the field, and I'm personally glad about that!!!

I think you are right, but have you considered that there are a bunch more guys that Dabo played with that have children playing high school football that he did not offer a scholarship to. There were many reasons Dabo offered the scholarship .... all for the right reason. Our coaches have not made Nolan faster, not given him the intangibles that make good football players, nor given him the desire to excel. They have done what all great coaches do, they have honed his skills. Everyone on this team has a role and Dabo knows what those roles are and that is what makes it a team, not just a conglomeration of great players.

Dabo knew Nolan, knew his character, just like the Davis twins.... He knew they would be effective members of the team... Even if they only played special teams which the all have. The Davis twins were always ready to play and never let us down.... Not sure if they had more than 6 starts between them but they played and played well whenever they were needed.
