One of these. If you've never had one of these, you should. Forget the price. I don't even like candy apples. But this is a whole other level. Get it cold in the fridge and slice it....woah, and it will pair well with the champagne.

Candy apples, known as 'toffee apples' in the English Commonwealth and 'pommes d'amour' in French territories, are whole apples covered in a sugar coating heated to hard crack stage, with a stick inserted as a handle. According to knowledgeable sources, William Kolb, a veteran Catholic candy maker, invented candy apples circa 1889 in Newark, New Jersey, by offhandedly dipping the fruit in red cinnamon and displaying it for sale at Christmastime, and though the treat was well received, resulting in Kolb establishing 'Kolb Candies and Sons', the company was never franchised, and was soon bought at auction by Goldstein and Leiberman Confectioners, LLP. Though several variations of the candied apple have been tried; most notably the sukaryot fig in Israel, which failed to gain popularity or Kosher approval, the original recipe remains in favor to this day and is commonly enjoyed during Fall festivals in the northern hemisphere, such as Halloween and Guy Fawkes Day.
The candy apple, my friends.
Created by a Christain, stolen by Jews, and sold back to Christians at a handsome profit.

Ode to the Caramel Apple
Oh, radiant jewel of autumnal delight, Thy splendor gleams in the amber light. A treasure borne from orchard’s care, Where fruit and sugar meet in a love affair.
Thou art no mere apple, plucked from bough, Thy transformation, a marvel, here and now. Encased in golden, molten sheen, A sweeter creation has seldom been seen.
Once, thou were humble, rustic, and plain, Ripened by sun and quenched by rain. Crimson skin, firm flesh, and tangy core, Nature’s bounty, but destined for more.
Into the pot, thy destiny called, Where caramel bubbled, thick and enthralled. A dance of heat, butter, and sugar’s embrace, Yielded a coating of smooth, silken grace.
Oh, caramel apple, thou art sublime, A harmony crafted in sweetness and time. The first bite—oh, what a delight! A clash of textures, a symphony’s flight.
Crunch! The crispness sings to the teeth, Breaking the caramel’s glossy sheath. A sweetness that clings, a tartness that bites, Two souls entwined, in gustatory rites.
Thy caramel clings with stubborn might, Golden ribbons catching the light. Sticky and rich, it tempts and teases, Binding joy in small, indulgent pieces.
Yet thou art not content with such grace, For innovations find their place. Sprinkled with nuts, drizzled with chocolate streams, Or cloaked in sprinkles, fulfilling dreams.
How many hands have toiled for thee, To craft this marvel of culinary glee? Farmers who nurtured the apple’s bloom, And confectioners who gave thee thy sugary plume.
Thou art the herald of fairs and feasts, Of hayrides, bonfires, and harvest’s beasts. A treat for children, a joy for the old, A story of seasons, forever retold.
On chilly evenings, thy presence is sought, Thy taste evokes memories, tenderly wrought. Of laughter shared under moonlit skies, Of cider and scarves and joyous cries.
Yet, caramel apple, thou art more than food, Thou art a symbol, a seasonal mood. A fleeting pleasure, a fleeting day, A reminder that sweetness can fade away.
For as thy caramel softens with time, And thy apple loses its tart paradigm, We remember thy fleeting, ephemeral grace, A mirrored truth of life’s own face.
Oh, caramel apple, let me sing on, Though my ode stretches from dusk till dawn. For in thy layers of simple delight, Lies a masterpiece born of day and night.
How oft have I pondered thy glossy round, A universe of flavor in a sphere unbound. Thy caramel is the sun, thy apple the earth, A celestial pairing of infinite worth.
Thy stick, humble, holds thee high, Like a scepter that lifts thee to the sky. A tool for savoring, a bridge to bliss, An instrument of joy, not amiss.
Oh, to hold thee, caramel apple, so dear, To feel thy weight, thy presence near. A tactile pleasure, smooth yet bold, A story of autumn in my hands, retold.
Though I may devour thee, piece by piece, My love for thee shall never cease. For in thy absence, memories stay, Of golden evenings and leaves’ ballet.
Thou art not merely a treat to eat, But a muse that makes my song complete. Oh, caramel apple, thou art divine, Forever enshrined in this heart of mine.
