Playing Texas for the first time ever in the inaugural 12 team playoffs and people are miserable. Makes zero sense.

A lack of moderation has resulted in a significant number of trolls manufacturing a majority of the posts on this site. They love to pretend they’re the “realists” and “objective”. Making matters worse, they manage to suck in a few of our less intelligent compatriots. But the vast bulk of these posters who constantly post negative vibes about our teams and coaches are not actually fans. The internet is a weird place full of sad and lonely people.

I'd say weaker constitutions. Which is probably much more insulting so I apologize in advance for to the panty waste fans who are offended.

Awww, you can’t decipher a little typo and autocorrect problems on a message board? I’m sorry little guy - low iq is hereditary so I should feel more sympathetic. Not all of us are using a pc w/ a CRT monitor in our troll dens.

I think an aspect that’s not being talked about is how majority of Texas’ big upsets come at home. They’re already prone to losing games they’re favored in, while playing at home. That coupled with Cades homecoming has me feeling a bit more confident.

With all honesty, I can't feel confident playing against any opponent until Dabo will admit to himself that he made some errors in judgement with some of his inexperience coaching hires that he made and fixes them before we start the 2025 fall practice.
Honestly, any team we've played with half of a pulse, right before kickoff I'll get a nauseated feeling in my stomach, and I'll catch myself holding my breath when our opponents have the ball on offense especially if they have a QB that runs really well...

You can tell we are spoiled as a fanbase bc in 2011/2012 we would all aspire to find reasons we could win. The optimism and desire to ascend to greatness was rampant. Now we lull about in a somber mood of little hope and despair. “It could be a huge loss.” “We have no chance.” “It’ll be West Virginia all over again.”
It could be a bad loss. It could be an epic upset. We could win. Let’s play the game and be excited about it like a kid on Christmas. Go Tigers. Orange Kool-Aide is strong here. Gratefulness is strong too. No one is entitled to the playoffs or a conference championship. I spent 20 years waiting for us to win one all throughout the 90s and 2000s.
I love this era. Go Tigers!

It's just annoying that years ago, when RB and DE recruiting first started going south, the same group on here was singing the same songs: Dabo's won 2 patties, trust the staff, don't be spoiled, these fallbacks will pan out, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Now that we are in a playoff game again, we are 11.5 dogs partly because we have significant issues at RB and DE, as well as an unproved defensive staff that can't make halftime adjustments to save their lives.
While it's great to be hopeful, however, hope doesn't win games.
I think discussion boards were for discussing, but many of you think otherwise - if they disagree with you.
But to end positively, we can absolutely win this game; it will take winning the TO margin and Cade playing lights out. Both can clearly happen.

I agree. I have said a few times that this year feels a little like 2015. The players are truly excited to win and get to the next game. For a few years it has felt like we would be there just because we are Clemson. I’m ok with having to work and fight for what we get. I’ve been doing it my whole life and the pride and gratitude is so much greater when you feel like you have really had to work to earn something.

If we don’t manufacture some semblance of a running game to keep them honest, they will just pin their ears back and make Cade run for his life all day.
And it won’t matter how much we’ve learned from the film of our losses.

It’s time for dabo to earn his $11m and beat a good team. If he loses to 3 SEC teams in one year that will tell you a lot about where the program is heading. Let’s go dabo…it’s time to be a hero or a zero!

You can grow from your losses, but at the same time, you don't want a bunch of losses either.
The important thing is that we all disagree respectfully, like adults.

We absolutely could win this game, Texas could lay an egg and we could prevail with a famous victory!
But we are 11.5 dogs for a reason..largest point spread in the 1st round games.
“ Texas actually is a fraud and we will blow them out” is just wishcasting…and pointing this out doesn’t make you a bad fan or troll. Especially considering how the season ended up. We are not “peaking in November” like we did in our famous championship drive years, we were 3 -2 in November and took let second heroics to beat Pitt and SMU!

How can Texas lay an egg when our coaches don’t call plays or play the personnel to win games…..if the defense is feasting Wes Goodwin will do something different. That’s where we are with Clemson football. Our coaches are clueless
