That is obviously tops in the nation.
Brownell is a lot better coach than some of you give him credit for. I saw posts here suggesting that we would lose by more than 20, and others saying that taking Duke at -4.5 was easy money.
He had us ready, as he usually does. Start believing in this program and cut the negative self-talk.

We are 19-5, 11-2 in the ACC, with a very good record against quad 1 and quad 2 teams.
We have won the overwhelming majority of our ACC games by double digits.
We are good. We have proven it over 24 games. Our fans need to stop with all the negativity.

We play so good, at times, and then, we drop the ball against weak programs like the cooties. I’m very happy and proud of our basketball team, but I just want us to close the door on ne’er do well teams like the coots. There is no excuse to let the coots have a scintilla of hope that they have a positive future.

And it’s gonna look bad to most people on our résumé for sure, probably our worst loss, that South Carolina team is not the same now as they were then. STUDE was really the reason they won that game, and he has been out pretty much every game since then with blood clot issues I think. He couldn’t miss in that game, and sometimes you run into that. It was compounded by Lachan having a very Georgia Tech type game. If you go back and watch the Georgia Tech and South Carolina games, Lachlan’s play was the biggest factor.
Thank God Brownell really challenged him after the Georgia Tech game and he stepped up big time and was probably the biggest reason we won this one.

We have a 14-10 UNC team coming in here on Monday. They played a game today, too. We will be favored to win. We can’t expect a win Monday? Did this team learn NOTHING from GT? If we lose to UNC, is that ok? If this team is sooo good, BEAT A CRAPPY TEAM AT HOME!
UNC loses to every Top 25 Team they play this year except 1 last time I checked (I think like 2-8 or 1-9). Just do what you’re suppose to do. NO EXCUSES.

We are 2-2 in Quad 1. 5-2 in quad 2. I agree that's pretty good. We also have a quad 3 loss. If you look at NET we are 30th. Look at the two teams above us and the two below us (Creighton, Texas, Miss St, and Lou) . No quad 3 or 4 losses. Bad losses hurt more. And with SC playing like they are they will probably end up a quad 3 loss too. Upsets happen, but losing to teams in the 120 range when we are 30th and moving up shouldn't.

It's you they hate. I don't feel that way personally, but it's quite obvious to all objective parties.
In fact, one could argue that you have almost single handedly turned many against Brownell and Clemson basketball on this board due to your allegiance.
The painful irony is that your mere absence from this board would probably spike support for the program.
You make it so #### difficult to root for Clemson basketball if you're on the fence. It's not Brownell or the program at this point - it's you.

I agree it's asinine, but it's the way it is. If judge wants to drum up support for basketball then he should be supportive of all athletic programs equally. If that's even his end game - not entirely clear what his motives are at this point unless he's a very clever gamecock troll or TNET staff member trying to drum up clicks.

But, I believe he only started his anti-football rhetoric due to board poster forever besmirching Coach Brownell and the basketball program. Eventually, he decided to return the same behavior toward all the basketball negative Nellies and fair weather fans. While I disagree with much of what Judeg Keller posts about Coach Swinney and the football team, I think he is more of a product of the vitriolic nature of this board, which is pretty bad, even for a message board. I look forward to a day when the basketball crowd will get along with the football crowd, and they will combine to just love Clemson, or the fair weathers will just gonna. Either way. Heck, Coach Swinney and Coach Brownell seem to get a long pretty well. I think I’ve even heard Coach Brownell call him one of his “friends.” Why can’t we all do the same here?

OP's behavior regarding Dabo has created a "I hope he suffers" trend on this board. It's sad that any Clemson fan would allow this to happen, but it has very obviously happened. It is ironic that the best way for the OP to improve support for Brownell is to stop talking about it. Or at least force him/herself to stop being so weird about Dabo.

I have to admit it’s a lot more fun supporting Clemson basketball though.
Clemson basketball is 5-0 in its last five games against top 5 teams, and that is despite being at a significant disadvantage in terms of funding, history, and support.
Meanwhile, Clemson football is 0-5 in its last five games against top 5 opponents, and that is despite having everything it could possibly want and need to be successful.
I want to see all of our teams win big. Football is positioned to do so more than any other sport on campus, and I’m ready to get back to elite level success.

I graduated from Clemson in 2013 and root for all programs equally. I get zero joy out of one program not being as successful as the other. I want us to win every single game in all sports.
Your schtick has done far more damage to the casual Clemson fan on this board than all gamecock trolls combined. I'm not sure what your end game is but it doesn't appear to be working. Unless you're a gamecock troll, and then congratulations on a job well done.

The basketball team also has EVERYTHING it could want and need to be successful, every season. When you say stupid things like they don’t have that, then people are going to continue to dislike you. Why must you be such a pompous jerk? Very unbecoming of a Clemson man.

Nice 2nd half adjustment. We gave up 18 points on turnovers to Duke in the first half and I'm pretty sure none in the 2nd half.
Also, we way out rebounded a big Duke team after a dismal rebounding game against Tech. Chauncey Wiggins didn't get many minutes. He hurts us on the boards.

I'm thrilled for us, the players and the school, and I'm thrilled for coach Brownell.

Although a chicken fan, that friend said the same, adding, "The Clemson crowd will be raising the roof!"
I'm happy for the win, not only for our Clemson family and our team, but also for Coach Brownell. He deserved it as much as anyone. Now, bring on the Tar Holes Monday, and let's see LJ rocking and rolling again!

He's got them playing well and the team has a bunch of good players. They move like a team and have a lot of fight in them. Last night, right after Vlad missed the layup, they were cold - older teams would've gone cold and just forced it - but they kept grinding. Good win.

I admit I’ve finally come around to Brownell last two years, but, his teams have gotten much better as of late. He’s been really good out of portal. While he’s been a good defensive coach, recent teams have been able to close. I never would’ve thought early last year, the player that Chase would be now.

I will say great win CU hoops. Awesome job. Let's keep it going. I was wrong about Coach BB yesterday and hope I am still WAY wrong.
