...had to restrain one of our players in a bear-hug after a win and whisper softly in his ear "you need to calm down now. Remember, humble, humble pie". That was embarrassing and tells me plenty.
I know this is Germans, but it's been sticking in my craw since last night. So Proud to be a Tiger!

I mean obviously he should know better, but just saying. I respect Spurrier much more than Jimbo.

Respect Spurrier more than Jimbo?

I guess you don't remember that wrecking ball of garbage named Garcia that Spurrier coached. His actions were equally as bad as JW, and I don't know that he ever missed any playing time. H3ll, Spurrier's own coach gets arrested and nothing. He goes on his tv show hammered and - nothing... Pitching a 3itch fit and threatening to quit unless reporters are canned? I have absolutely 0% respect for Spurrier. If you think Spurrier would bench Winston, you're dead wrong. His motto is, and always has been win at all costs.

Spurrier would be torn between benching Winston for his ludicrously long rap sheet of petty crime and the fact that he is probably a rapist , and not benching him because he likes it when he wins himself some football games. Also , currently the Coots have less than 1 good QB if you added the 4 on their roster together ...but that is just me. You play with who ya got , right LeadCoot ?

*cough* , Spurrier ran a clean program ? He is on probation at the USuCk right now ! Not getting caught (or actually punished when you ARE caught ) is one thing , but don't go believing the blindly foolish UF/USuCk fans who crow about how Steven Otis Spurrier is a moralistic do-gooder . I LOLZ !

the op said we never SIGN players who are all about themselves. we did SIGN chad Kelly, hence you could not have shown him the door or had campus security do it after he slapped dabo or the capri sun out of his hand, depending on who is telling the story. it is not like dabo did not know about Kelly and his baggage before he even got here. the reason may tiger fans don't like jimbo and fsu right now is they own us. why else would you worry about another teams program? just beat them and move on, all about WINNING baby.

winning at the last second. He was excited and reminded him to be humble that's it. Im ebarassed by how prude some of our fans are. Remember the end of louisville? Where vic took his helmet off? If that was jameis winston you and several others would be b!tching up a storm. He played his #### off at the end and vic played his #### off so it's expected. Footba is an emotional game and if you could step down off your high horse for a minute you would be able to see that. Apart from getting us to an orange bowl and getting beat by us next year who gives a ##### what jimbo, jameis or fsu does. It's unbelievable how pride some of our fans have acted. I can't stand jameis winston but nothing at all was wrong with what he did last night apart from play bad the first half. I love when our players show that emotion especially after a big win.

couth know to show some poise when the camera is in their face and they're being interviewed. See most any post game interview after NC etc. (except for Winston after last year's . . . he acted ridiculous then too).

Jimbo counseling Winston after the game was a good idea on Jimbos part. The fact that it needed to be done at all speaks volumes to the character of the FSU program. SAD and makes me proud to be a Tiger with Dabo as our HC.

The way he was acting against Louisville, you would have thought he just won the super bowl.
